Marks left by the display of previously exhibited work are recreated by hand on the gallery walls. These residual display elements are taken from around the building and from the spaces of other exhibiting artists in this exhibition.

 

By their recreation on the corresponding walls in my exhibiting space, I explore the boundaries of personal and public space, hi-lighting relationships between the current exhibiting artists and those who worked and showed previously in these spaces.
